Mimaki's latest product series that will transform the Sign Graphics and textile markets.
Mimaki launches the Series 330 printer and the new entry-level cutting plotter series, the CG-AR.
Mimaki Europe has announced a new large-format inkjet printer, the 330 series, including the JV330-160, CJV330-160, and TS330-1600, as well as a new range of CG-AR cutting plotters. The launch will take place during the Global Innovation Days event. The 330 Series leverages Mimaki's multi-platform strategy to offer effective printing solutions across multiple industries.
Similarly, the CG-AR series offers users new workflow enhancements and technologies characteristic of an entry-level cutting plotter, available in three sizes. Both launches align with Mimaki's goal of growing its range of high-end and entry-level products to encourage and support customers in expanding and improving their printing services and product offerings.
Introducing the latest Mimaki printers—the 330 Series
Following the success of the 100 and 300 Plus series, the 330 series was developed to offer high-end printing models, focusing on high image quality and productivity. As Mimaki is a company known for its color range, the latest printers are able to achieve durable, high-resolution prints for the graphic and textile industries.

Both the print-only model, JV330-160, and the integrated cutter printer, CJV330-160, will be available globally in April 2022.
In addition to Sign Graphics solutions, Mimaki has also launched the TS330-1600, a sublimation transfer inkjet printer for the textile industry. It enables high production and high image quality and is equipped with new functions for stable operation. The TS330-1600 can achieve a print speed of 69m²/h in Draft mode with a 4-color ink set, with the fastest mode reaching up to 135m²/h. The latest cleaning mechanism applies a cleaning cloth that removes ink from the nozzle surface, reducing ink splashes and improving overall machine maintenance.
The TS330-1600 also has optional accessories to further increase its efficiency. These include the "10 kg ink tank supply unit," which reduces the cost per cc compared to the standard 2L ink package and allows for longer continuous printing. A mini unit of a giant roll can also be added to load long transfer paper and further reduce operating costs.
An improved absorption system with dual motors, equipped on both sides of the printer, distributes the load and enhances the winding power, allowing for a more stable printed paper process, even for longer jobs. Txlink4, Mimaki's RIP, is software dedicated to the textile market and is included with every TS330-1600.
All products in the series are equipped with Mimaki Weaving Dot Technology (MWDT). This changes the order in which ink droplets are placed, depending on the printing conditions, preventing streaks or uneven printing due to printhead or adjustment issues. Mimaki Remote Access (MRA) is also available across the series, improving ease of use by allowing users to remotely access the machine and check the status of operation. Mimaki TS330-1600
Increasing efficiency with the entry-level CG-AR series of cutting plotters
Alongside the 330 Series, Mimaki has also launched the CG-AR Series cutting plotters. Available in three different sizes (CG-60AR, CG-100AR, and CG-130AR), these devices go beyond the entry-level options currently available. Recognizing customer demand for shorter turnaround times, these cutters provide increased speed and precision, all with easy-to-use operability. In addition, the cutters have the ability to handle a diverse range of materials, such as PVC, fluorescent and reflective sheets.
