CFO Marco Fernandes gives interview to Bons Negócios
Prestigious visual and digital communication
Digidelta has been present in the domestic market for over 30 years, offering a wide range of products for the labeling, digital display, digital printing, and visual communication markets.
Digidelta was founded in the same year that the first PCs (Personal Computers) appeared in Portugal, dedicated to SMEs and initially intended for management solutions. That was in 1986. In the following years, with the development of the capabilities of this equipment, the first solutions for the printing industry appeared, the main area of activity of the Portuguese company founded by Rui Leitão.
Between 1990 and 1992, Digidelta began marketing its first solutions: Desktop Publishing text editing systems and the first PostScript Lasers for printing color selection photolithographs, through a company represented in Portugal. And sales were hugely successful! At the time, Digidelta was considered the best reseller of these graphics systems in Portugal. Today, 33 years after its foundation, its range of products is wider and the company is characterized as a manufacturer for the labeling, digital display, digital printing, and visual communication markets. "Digidelta offers a range of products for digital and 3D printing from Mimaki, EFI, and other brands. The range of equipment we offer is used for all types of visual communication, from tarpaulins for building facades, vinyl for billboards and vehicle decoration, as well as printing promotional gifts. As manufacturers of digital LED communication solutions, we offer solutions for billboards, building facades, shop windows, gas stations, and other applications such as retail communication (indoor), soccer stadiums, and even car stands," says Marco Fernandes, CFO of Digidelta.
The manager believes that the variety of applications that the equipment allows is what wins over customers and brings results—this year they have already reached more than 850 customers. "The search for the best solutions for our customers is one of our pillars, which is why we have added products from the most prestigious international brands to our portfolio, providing the best guarantees for the success of their businesses."
Marco Fernandes considers the partnership with GRENKE to be an asset to the success of Digidelta and its customers. "Operational leasing solutions are perfectly suited to the services we provide. It is an asset not only because of the payment terms, but also because of the flexibility and agility in handling the process. It is a tremendous asset when it comes to sales. Indeed, GRENKE's team and products are undoubtedly differentiators."
Digidelta has earned around €40 million in the past.
