Digidelta wins FESPA UK Champion Award for its environmental advances
FESPA UK Waste Accreditation distinguishes printing, signage, and graphics companies that meet strict waste management standards.
Digidelta, a specialist manufacturer of materials for digital printing, decoration, visual communication, and textiles, is pleased to announce that it has received the prestigious FESPA UK Waste Accreditation Champions Recognition Award 2025 in recognition of its work and ongoing commitment to the environment.
Launched in 2022, the FESPA UK Waste Accreditation program is a voluntary scheme focused on promoting responsible waste management and recycling practices in the printing, signage, and graphics sectors. Through this scheme, FESPA UK assesses a company's waste generation, output streams, and disposal methods, awarding "Champion" status only to those that meet strict criteria.
Digidelta joins the group of companies recognized by FESPA UK
Digidelta now joins a prestigious list of companies that have achieved these high standards, receiving environmental recognition from FESPA UK—one of the regional arms of the global FESPA organization.
Steve Broad, Head of Global Business Development at Digidelta, played a key role in securing this distinction. Steve, along with several members of the Digidelta team, met with FESPA UK during FESPA Global Print Expo 2025 in Berlin, where they presented the company's latest environmental advances in the printing materials segment.
“We are delighted to welcome Digidelta as the latest supplier to become a FESPA UK Champion and join our mission to drive sustainability in the industry,” said Jon Hutton, Director of FESPA UK.
“When we met Steve and the Digidelta team at FESPA, we talked about the strong environmental motivation present throughout the company. It was clear that Digidelta wants to make a difference in how post-campaign graphic vinyls are handled, and Waste Accreditation—focused on recycling these materials—is the ideal platform.
“It is extremely positive to have Digidelta on board and make it an integral part of our Champion Suppliers team!”
Digidelta's proven leadership in sustainable printing solutions
Digidelta has established itself as a trusted supplier and leader in sustainable solutions for the printing, signage, and graphics markets. Its portfolio includes the revolutionary BIOND range, composed of bio-based films, which offers customers an environmentally responsible, high-quality solution.
BIOND is an effective and quantified alternative to PVC materials. Produced from plant-based components, BIOND is 85% bio-based and absorbs carbon dioxide during plant growth, reducing the total carbon footprint by more than 80%. This contrasts sharply with traditional PVC, which generates significantly higher amounts of potentially harmful CO₂.
However, what makes BIOND such a successful alternative is that, despite its reduced environmental impact, it offers performance equal to or superior to that of PVC materials. This means that customers do not have to compromise on the quality of their end applications in order to offer a more sustainable service to their own customers.
In addition, BIOND is competitively priced in line with polymeric PVC, enabling companies to become more sustainable without increasing operating costs. To enhance transparency, Digidelta has developed an online calculator that allows users to see how much CO₂ they can reduce by replacing traditional PVC with BIOND.
Quality guaranteed by Digidelta's specialized teams
In addition, BIOND products use a water-based adhesive and are produced using processes that are 85% powered by solar energy. All production is supervised by Digidelta's specialized team, ensuring high levels of quality control, industrial process efficiency, and consistent delivery times.
This fully in-house model eliminates outsourcing costs, allowing Digidelta to pass on these savings to customers—thereby helping more companies to adopt sustainable practices.
“At Digidelta, we are fully aware of the value our products offer in terms of quality, sustainability, and cost efficiency,” said Armando Mota, CEO of Digidelta.
“Receiving this recognition from such a respected organization as FESPA UK, and achieving FESPA UK Waste Accreditation Champions Recognition Award 2025 status, is further proof of our mission: to develop environmentally responsible solutions while reducing our own impact on the planet. We are very proud to become a FESPA UK Champion and look forward to working with the association to promote our benchmark products."
